Florida has multiple types of bonds that hold people in jail, but the most common type is a surety bond, discussed in this video.
What many don’t realize is, that once a bond amount is set at first appearance, your or your loved ones trial judge can reduce or modify the bond. This is something you should discuss with your trial counsel as soon as possible.
